About the book
Does it work, how much, and is it safe?
Nobody has ever felt their LDL. High cholesterol has no symptoms, and it keeps score in two places that don’t always move together: your lab report and your arteries. This book checks every food, habit and supplement against the published research and asks three questions: does it work, how much, and is it safe? Each one gets a grade for what it does to your cholesterol numbers, a real number, heart attack and stroke results shown separately, and a priority: Start here, Add next, Optional extras or Skip. It’s written for adults with high cholesterol or high triglycerides, or numbers that are starting to creep up, to use with their doctor. It adds to your treatment; it never replaces it.
